RF Armor kits are manufactured from marine grade aluminium for light weight as well as providing years of rust-free service. With class licensed bands becoming more and more congested, RF Armor is essential in minimising hostile interference from nearby radios and access points. As side-lobe gain is an inherent imperfection in antenna design, the heavy-gauge aluminium is designed to attenuate both inbound interference and outbound transmissions in all directions outside the central lobe. Even in clear spectrum RF Armor helps reduce thermal noise as well as protecting radio and antenna radomes from UV deterioration. Deployment of RF Armor is not only essential practice on any commercial and industrial application, but an expectation as part of the responsible use of class licensed (license-free) bands. The RF Armor UNSLK25 shield comes with the ability to mount to a pole using the included U-Bolt, or attach directly to a flat surface using the included bracket.
